Barnet Training Squad strike gold at the English National Championship

This summer, swimmers from the Barnet Training Squad (BTS) made a big splash at the English National Championships held at the Ponds Forge International Sports Centre in Sheffield, bringing home an impressive set of results.

Among the standout performances were Rin Mayo and Frankie Zietal, who both won gold! Competing against some of the best club swimmers in the country, they showed incredible determination and skill to claim the top podium positions.

Rin and Frankie’s victories capped off a fantastic week for the BTS, with strong swims recorded across the squad. Their success reflects the hours of hard work, dedication, and commitment both in and out of the pool – not just from the swimmers themselves, but also from their coaches, families, and the wider club community who support them.
