BETTER Yourself on National Fitness Day
In celebration of National Fitness Day, join our Better leisure centres in Camden and the rest of the UK on Wednesday 20th September, to encourage individuals of all ages and fitness levels to get moving and bring people together. This year’s theme is ‘Your Health is for Life’, encouraging people of all ages, abilities and background to recognise and celebrate the life-long physical and mental benefits of being active.
National Fitness Day aims to highlight the significance physical activity plays across the UK, helping raise awareness of its importance in assisting us lead healthier lifestyles through being physically active. According to Sport England's most recent Active Lives study, more than a quarter of the population in England is considered inactive, getting less than 30 minutes of exercise each week on average. Following the last few years of uncertainty, this day serves as a reminder of the positive impact physical activity can have on our lives, both physically and mentally.
WHAT’S ON OFFER?
Both members and non-members will have the opportunity to participate in a variety of free fitness classes offered at all Better leisure centres in Camden. On National Fitness Day we will be offering a wide range of different classes in Camden leisure centres. These classes will be suitable for individuals of varying fitness levels, from beginners to seasoned gym goers. It’s the perfect opportunity to try something new, improve your fitness, and have fun with likeminded individuals.
