GLL Insight Day at Swiss Cottage
On Thursday 26th January, we will be hosting an Insight Day at Swiss Cottage Leisure Centre in partnership with Camden Council.
The Insight Day will provide local residents an opportunity to find out more about the current vacancies available throughout Camden and career opportunities with GLL in Camden Leisure Centres. Everyone who attends will also be given a tour of the centre providing more opportunities to find out more about careers in the leisure industry. Our designated recruitment team will be on hand to support attendees with application forms on the day as well.

Concierge
GLL is looking for a Concierge Team Member based at Swiss Cottage Leisure Centre in Camden. If you have the passion for people needed to deliver a first-class customer experience, this is your chance to become the friendly face of a busy leisure centre.
As Concierge team member, you’ll enjoy making a difference to every person who walks through our doors – be it with your warm welcome or through selling them a membership to enhance their lifestyle. Often a customer’s first port of call, you’ll answer the phone, deal with transactions, handle any queries and even go out into the community on outreach projects – all with a smile on your face and our support behind you. We’ll also look to you to respond to enquiries and of course, convert them into membership sales. From providing team support to the warmest of welcomes, your focus will be on ensuring our customers receive the best possible service.
Lifeguard
GLL is looking for a Lifeguard to work at Swiss Cottage Leisure Centre. If you have the skills and ambition to join us as a Lifeguard, there's never been a more exciting time to join us. This is more than a Lifeguard job, it's a career.

Fitness Instructor
GLL is looking for a Fitness Instructor based at Oasis Sports Centre in Camden. If you have plenty of energy, ambition and expertise, this is your chance to help people to achieve their fitness potential by becoming a Fitness Instructor a leisure sector leader.
If you love variety, you’ll thrive, as you never know who you’ll be supporting next. A typical day could be anything from providing a personal service in the gym and offering workout advice to checking the equipment and even teaching classes. That means we’re looking for a Fitness Instructor with physical fitness, combined with a can-do attitude and the eye for detail needed for paperwork. An obvious passion for all things fitness will need to shine through all you do too, so that you can make a positive difference to people’s lives.
As a Fitness Instructor, part of your role is to inspire people to train independently and keep coming back. So, it all starts with an induction, for you to understand someone’s ability and ambitions – and ultimately, devise a bespoke programme that suits their needs. As a real people-person, this will come naturally as you quickly build people’s trust and confidence.
