Equipment can be provided but if you have a racket please feel free to bring it along. Just wear some comfortable clothes (think activewear) with a good pair of trainers and you’re good to go! Bring some refreshments especially if the weather looks like being hot.

There are plenty of reasons why you should pick up a racket and start playing tennis. It is a great form of exercise and an amazing sport. Anyone can play; whatever their motivation or ability, from all communities and backgrounds. At any age and for a whole lifetime, tennis provides physical, social and mental rewards both on and off the court.

At Gunnersbury Park we have opportunities for juniors to play all year round with our weekly programme which has lessons on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. During the school holidays we run tennis camps giving children the chance to develop their game and learn new skills in a short space of time. We have LTA coaches who are here to help introduce tennis to you , help improve your game and give you opportunities to learn new skills with us at Gunnersbury Park.
