Summer Is here! Open Day Weekend and Summer Fun
Summer Holidays are fast approaching and we have plenty of fun in store at the Lido! Whether you are looking to soak up the sun's rays, try out free swimming lessons to improve your technique, or tackle an inflatable obstacle course with the whole family, we have you covered.

Along with our Hackney Better centre family, we will be hosting free activities available for all thorughout our Open Day Weekend.
Free Swim Doctor Adult Swimming Coaching
10-11am Saturday 19th July
This group class will give you a taster for improving your technique and fitness, focused on working through sets and drills with our dedicated Swim Doctor, Henry.
Free Swim Doctor 121
11am-1pm Sunday 20th July
Book in for a free 121 session with one of our dedicated coaches, David, who will work with you towards your bespoke swimming goals.
Kids Swim for £1
9-10am Sunday 20th July
Grab a slot for our usual Swim for All session during this hour to get your entry for £1!
What to bring:
- Swimwear and towel
- Water bottle
- £1 or reusable token for the lockers (you can purchase a token at the centre)
Non-members
Non-members can participate by creating a free account via the app or online at https://bookings.better.org.uk/register, then simply booking an available open day activity. As part of the registration process, customers must agree to the activity terms and conditions, which include a signed waiver granting access into the centre.

Our Aqua Splash sessions are back! Starting from Saturday 19th July, bring your family and your best obstacle course skills to our Aqua Splash sessions.
Every Thursday 13.30-15.00 and Saturday 13.30-15.00
All Summer Holiday
Children's Summer Swimming Lessons
Give your child the best boost to their swimming with our Summer Holiday short courses. Our lessons run in the mornings Monday to Friday on alternate weeks in the summer holidays and are suitable for non-swimmers and improvers aged 4+.
9-10am w/c 28th July, 11th August and 25th August
Sunbathing and Summer Visits at the Lido
