From Monday 5th September, the Phoenix Fitness Centre and Janet Adegoke Swimming Pool will be re-launching our Fitness Class programme. After a large refurbishment and the delivery of brand new class equipment we are ready to bring a full and diverse programme to our members with some new classes.

Group Cycle - these 45min classes take place in our air conditioned, multi-function room. A high intensity cycle class, Group Cycle is a pumping intense cardio workout. Join Ayesha and Patricia as they put you through your paces up to 4 times a week.

Aqua Aerobics - the re-launch sees the return of Aqua Aerobics to Phoenix on a Monday night.  One of our most requested classes, Aqua Aerobics allows members to get fit and toned in the water where stress on the joints can be minimised.

Junior Strength and Conditioning - we have introduced our first Junior Classes. Junior gym will be based solely in the Programmable Gym and a 30min class will be undertaken on our Functional Frame for juniors at 5pm on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday.

Functional Fitness - these 30min classes in the evening are based on our Functional Frame, and will utilise all the equipment and accessories we have installed. With Slam Balls, Rebounder, Core Bags, Dip Station, Battle Ropes, and TRX there are hundreds of different stations and exercises that our trained instructors can choose from on the day

Basics Classes - our classes during the day have now been re-launched as a 'Basic' class. They should be tailored more toward beginners or new members.  

Remember you don't have to be a fitness freak to attend any of our classes - the instructors will be able to adjust and give you activities to suit your level of fitness and mobility.
