Better Gym Pinner has a selection of cardio machines treadmills, cross trainers, rowers, steppers, upright, spinning and recumbent bikes. Located in the bright and airy area of the gym, it will help you get that sweat on!



Resistance and Free weights

Our resistance and free weights are ideal for targeting specific muscles, toning muscles and increasing total body strength. The gym is a purposeful space, with lots of light and room, creating a good workout atmosphere. This also features rubber flooring and a mirrored wall to help you focus on performance and technique. We also house a full range of barbells, dumbbells ranging from 1 to 50kg, workout benches and much more.


Functional Area

Or how about using our Functional area? Functional training allows you to train the body to perform activities that are required in everyday life. The Functional area allows you freedom to have the exact workout you desire, it's an open and versatile space packed with multiple pieces of equipment which you can use in which ever way suits you. Functional training has a number of benefits including improved total body strength, improved flexibility, improved joint stability, improved agility and improved posture.



Personal Training

Whether you need an extra boost of motivation or just want to refocus your fitness regime, our Personal Trainers are on hand to help.

Personal trainers provide exercise programmes for all areas and levels of fitness. Your trainer will design a progressive training workout indivdual to you.

They will provide you with a structured workout and sequence of exercises, helping you meet your goals much quicker than training on your own.

They'll also offer nutritional and lifestyle advice.

Workouts will be challenging, educational yet fun, and hopefully you'll find the experience has a positive effect on your whole life!

Here at Better Gym Pinner we have a number of fitness classes that are available. We have grouped our fitness classes into categories below so that you can decide what fitness class is best for you and what classes can help you improve on your fitness.

Let’s be Strong, start building a better you. Choose from loads of great, motivational activities that’ll help you strengthen and condition you whole body.

Let’s Focus, Feel better inside and glow on the outside. Build your strength and flexibility in our lower-impact classes, which will leave you feeling refreshed and revived.

Let’s Work, Get your heart pumping and feel better, as we move together in these fast – paced, high energy classes.

Let’s Move, Get fit and feel great. This fun, energising group activities are guaranteed to put a smile on your face.

Let’s Target, These smaller groups are for greater focus. These classes take place on the gym floor and offer intense training with a real focus on exercise technique. Using a range of equipment and body weighted exercises will target and focus on stamina and endurance, strength and conditioning, functional or cardiovascular.


Group Cycle Studio

Improve your fitness level by taking part in one of our Group Cycle classes, Group cycle is a fun way to increase cardiovascular fitness, burns calories quickly and improves lower body strength. By cycling in one of our classes you could burn up to approximately 560 calories per class.

Each class is 45 minutes and can be booked online, at reception or telephoning reception. Booking becomes available 6 days in advance of the class.   



The Sauna/Stream room provides you with a relaxed atmosphere to come and unwind after an intense work out, the perfect chillout.
