The Burpee exercises is a full-body focused calisthenics exercise which aims to help build and tone muscle strength and endurance in both the lower and upper body. A standard burpee exercise works to strengthen the muscles in your legs, hips, glutes, core, arms, chest & shoulders. It is also a very effective exercise to burn off quite an increased amount of calories, as it requires so many different muscles to activate in order to perform it.

The person that invented the exercise was actually called Burpee? To be precise, Royal Huddleston Burpee which decided to create an exercise which could test an individuals physical fitness just by performing it over a certain amount of time.
Do burpees help burn fat?
YES they do! When performing burpees as part of your workout it can help burn off that little bit of stubborn fat you may have on your stomach area with the right diet and if performed regularly. As it is a high intensity movement, after a few repetitions your heart rate will start to beat a lot faster to meet the exercise demand, which means as well as working anaerobically its also helping your body work aerobically (Aerobic – your body working with the help of oxygen coming into your system. Anaerobic – refers to the body producing energy without oxygen). In conclusion, Burpees are a very effective exercise to burn fat and help you build stronger muscles and increase your metabolism throughout the entire day.
