Better Swim School Distance Week a Splashing Success in Newham
The week commencing 30th June marked a memorable celebration of progress and achievement for young swimmers across Newham, as Better Swim School hosted a highly successful Distance Week.
Throughout the week, all pupils attending lessons had the opportunity to earn a special medal and certificate, recognising the dedication, skill and progress they’ve shown in the pool. It was a proud moment for many families, with parents embracing the chance to celebrate their children’s achievements and capture the occasion with photos and applause.
As more people heard about it, attendance kept growing, showing how excited and proud the community felt about Distance Week.
In total, over 2,300 pupils took part, each receiving well-deserved recognition and countless snapshots to remember their success.
The energy extended beyond the swimmers, as teachers enthusiastically supported each child with encouragement, expert feedback and lots of cheering, ensuring every swimmer pushed to reach their personal best.
Everyone who took part is already looking forward to the next Distance Week, eager to excel even further and beat their own personal distance records.
