With the summer holidays fast approaching it’s time to talk about how Better Gym Teddington can get you feeling your best summer self.

Are you a solo gym goer or is group style classes more your thing? Here at Better Gym Teddington we have everything covered for a feel good Summer!

Free weights

Want to build muscle, add definition and feel strong it’s time to start lifting weights. Choose from a large variety of weights and resistance machines to target every part of the body. A free induction and tailored program is a perk of joining Better Gym Teddington, setting you on the path for a successful fitness journey.

If you prefer the energy and added motivation of an instructor led group class we have that covered too. Power Pump is a total body weighted class ideal for building muscle and toning up. LBT targets the lower body and core; it’s a fantastic class from toning and sculpting these areas. Both are 45 minute classes that will not only leave you feeling strong, but are also perfect for building confidence and working on perfecting technique, all in a fun and upbeat environment!

Circuit training

A high intensity and full body workout all wrapped up in a fun 45 minute group class, what’s not to like. It’s a fun way to raise your heart rate, challenge yourself and improve fitness levels, plus there is never a dull moment with this face paced high energy session. Circuit training combines cardio and strength movement elevating your fitness and blasting calories in the process.

Cardio

Better Gym Teddington has a large range of cardio equipment to get your blood pumping and leave you feeling great! Which will you choose first?

  • Stairmaster – If you haven’t tried it before give this one a go. Climb your way better heart health, toning that lower body and core in building core strength.
  • Crosstrainer – A great low impact exercise full body machine, ideal for all ages and levels.
  • Rowers – Build power and endurance with this total body workout. Will you choose a steady pace or challenge yourself with some rower sprints?
  • Treadmills – Here we have so many options to choose from. An incline walk perfect for all fitness levels and a great way to get started or incorporate LISS cardio into your routine. A gentle jog or perhaps some flat our sprints to really push those fitness levels.
  • Skierg – a full body exercise, ideal for added into circuits!

 

 

 

 

Mind and body

There are many benefits of incorporating a mind and body class into your exercise routine, with Pilates, yoga and fusion to try. It is not only great for your health, but also is great tool to improve overall wellbeing. A moment’s calm, to focus on yourself and relieve everyday stresses.

Many of us spend a lot of time staring at a computer screen, these classes focus on improving flexibility and mobility, which goes hand in hand with correcting our posture. Better balance and muscle strength and tone are seen, particularly core, lower back and hips. Our mat based workouts are suitable for all ages and exercise levels.
