A healthier Manchester starts here!
We can't wait to welcome you to your new library & leisure centre. We'll open our doors at 9am and to celebrate we'll be offering free activities sessions for the local community on both Saturday 12th and Sunday 13th August. We'll have a great range of adult, junior and family sessions available for you to enjoy;
- Gym
- Swimming
- Health Suite (age 16+)
- Fitness Classes
- Badminton
We're also offering squash and basketball taster lessons. To book the taster lessons email us at abrahammoss@gll.org
You can book in advance or simply drop in. Online booking will open from Monday 7th August.
We've got so much to show you:
- Take the plunge in our fantastic 25m pool.
- Make a splash in our 20m teaching pool, perfect for families and our swim school
- Workout your way in one of our 2 superb gyms. Choose from Cardio, Functional and Strength zones in our main gym and over 90 pieces of brand new Technogym equipment. Our 25 station programmable gym is perfect for our women only sessions
- Take a class in our new studio, our extensive programme has something for everyone
- You'll be bowled over by our 4 cricket lanes. Our Urban Cricket Centre is the only facility of it's kind in the North West. Set within our sports hall, plus there's also plenty of room for favourites such as badminton, football, basketball and netball
- Make a racket on our 2 squash courts
- Wind down in our health suite. You'll find a sauna and steam room - perfect for relaxing!
- Our changing rooms and toilets are all brand new and we're delighted to offer Changing Places, accessible changing provision for our customers with disabilities or additional needs. We've also got a Pool Pod, enabling easy, quick access to the pool for our customers in wheelchairs or with disabilities which can make accessing swimming pools difficult
- A healthy mind is equally important so we know you'll love Abraham Moss Library. You'll find a superb range of books, audio, PCs and support and information available here
