Shape Master Coffee Mornings are back!
We have reintroduced our Shape Master Coffee Mornings on a Tuesday 10:00-12:00 post pre pandemic these mornings a massive uptake of customers within the local community coming together and enjoying a slice of cake and a nice warm cup of tea.
Since the pandemic many seniors have felt paranoid of returning in large groups with many friendships becoming distanced, on Tuesday the 25th of October our coffee morning returned with 20 participants some very delicious cake.
The team provided an urn and set up some table and chairs, the morning was a great social for not only for the individuals using Shape Master but the centre.
Historically ShapeMaster has been a crucial component in getting those who are less confident and/or less able to use the gym, involved in physical exercise. The added atmosphere as well as a sense of community and togetherness created by bringing back the coffee mornings has only helped to reengage this, so much so that we are seeing more and more of the ShapeMaster members venturing upstirs to the main gym.
This is a fantastic step and a key part of our focus moving forward as it not only brings a buzz to the site for our members and staff but also aligns us with the key values and main aims of the Innerva group who will be relaunching ShapeMaster in the new year.
Special mention to Carol our part-time Fitness Instructor that lead the organisation and communication of the event to current and pre-existing members, with the hope of returning them back into the Shape Master environment.
Carol will play an integral role when the new Innerva relaunch comes in and its fantastic to have such a passionate, dedicated and knowledgeable member of staff on hand to interacted with our members while on site. Over the coming weeks the rest of the FI team as well as the PT’s onsite will be briefed on how we are looking to move forward and continue as strongly as we’ve started, and how they will be able to help us achieve this for all our members.
