Indoor Tennis Centre and Ozone Complex has launched a new initiative offering adapted climbing sessions for people with disabilities, providing accessible opportunities for physical activity and personal achievement.

The programme consists of two separate courses, each made up of three weekly, 2-hour sessions running from 6pm-8pm on the dates below.

Course 1: Course 2:
Friday 3rd October  Friday 7th November
Friday 10th October Friday 14th November
Friday 17th October Friday 21st November

Sessions will take place at Indoor Tennis Centre and Ozone Complex in Ormeau Park and are led by trained instructors who are experienced in adaptive sports. This has been planned and will be delivered in partnership with Mountaineering Ireland.

Designed for individuals with physical, sensory, or cognitive disabilities, the sessions include the use of adaptive equipment such as specialist harnesses, hoists, and tactile route markers. The climbing wall has been modified to improve accessibility while maintaining a challenging and enjoyable experience for all participants.

Each session offers personalised support in a safe and inclusive environment, helping individuals to build confidence, strength, and co-ordination. The programme also aims to foster a sense of community and provide a fun, social activity for those taking part.

Spaces are limited to ensure a high level of support. For more information visit our website HERE or to book a place on either course visit HERE, alternatively email Dempsey.Brown@gll.org
