Better Gym Mere Green Summer Football!

We’re excited to announce that we’ll be hosting a football tournament exclusively for members of Better Gym Mere Green. If you’ve been in the gym recently, you might have heard some of the buzz already - our staff team has been playing 6-a-side matches over at Tamworth FC, and it’s sparked loads of conversation among members and staff. A few of you have even said you’d like the chance to get involved and challenge the staff—well, here’s your opportunity.

The tournament will take place at Sutton United FC on Saturday, 20th July. Exact match times will be shared closer to the date. The event promises to be a great day out for everyone—whether you’re playing or just coming to watch and cheer on the teams.

To take part, you’ll need to sign up by Thursday, 27th June. All players must pay a £5 entry fee, and your name must be on the list in order to be entered into a team draw. Teams will be mixed, and each one will include a minimum of two staff members, so even if you’re coming on your own, you won’t be alone—you’ll know some faces and meet plenty of new ones.

Whether you’re aiming to play or just planning to watch, we want as many people as possible involved to make this a fun and memorable day. There will be a bar on-site for spectators, and we’re hoping for a great turnout from our amazing gym community.

This is more than just football—it’s a chance to connect, have fun, and show what being part of Better Gym Mere Green is all about.
