Welcome to the gym at Pentwyn Leisure Centre, where we've created a fitness space that caters to any workout routine. Cardio Zone

Head to our cardio area to get that heart rate pumping and improve your cardiovascular health. Here you'll find treadmills, rowing machines, assault fitness bikes, and much more. Many machines come with preloaded programmes to challenge you depending on your goals and our friendly instructors can help you get started. Just what you need for a dynamic warm-up or full aerobic session.

Strength Area

Our dedicated strength area is all about giving you the tools to strengthen your body, while increasing bone density and improving balance. This section includes various types of weightlifting equipment, so head to the squat rack and see how you can up the weight or reps over time to really push your limits. If you need tips on form, our personal trainers are happy to advise.

Resistance Area

Sculpt and strengthen specific muscle groups in our resistance area, whether you're new to the gym or an experienced bodybuilder. Our resistance machines allow you to target specific muscle groups, like legs, arms or chest, with a focus on developing strength in those areas. By focusing on single muscle groups, you can work on developing your physique in a more targeted way.

Free Weights

Challenge your muscles and build strength in our free weights zone. We offer a variety of dumbbells, from beginner-friendly options to heavier weights for experienced lifters, along with barbells and benches. Free weights are a versatile and highly beneficial addition to any fitness routine, perfect as your main workout focus or combined with cardio and other training.
