Join us for our Summer Open Weekend
Penylan Community Centre is throwing its doors open for a National Open Weekend on Saturday 19th and Sunday 20th July 2025 offering an exciting lineup of free activities for the whole family.
Whether you’re a fitness enthusiast or just curious about what your local centre has to offer, there’s something for everyone.
For those looking to explore the gym at their own pace, taster sessions will be available throughout the weekend. Friendly staff will be on hand to guide newcomers through the equipment, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for both adults and juniors to give it a try.
Families with younger children won’t want to miss the junior Soft Play session —a fun-filled area where kids can bounce, climb, and slide to their hearts’ content under safe supervision. It’s a perfect opportunity for children to get active while having a blast.
The National Open Weekend is a celebration of community health and wellbeing, aiming to inspire people of all ages to get moving, try something new, and enjoy the benefits of an active lifestyle.
Don’t miss out on this fantastic opportunity to discover everything Penylan Community Centre has to offer—and it’s all free!
