The newly improved Soft Play area at Swiss Cottage Leisure Centre is now open! As part of our ongoing £550K investment to enhance our facilities, work will begin on the upgrades to the Group Cycle studio from 2nd June 2025. This investment reflects our commitment to providing high-quality experiences for the local community and continually improving your leisure offering.
Upgraded Soft Play Now Open
A brand-new 3-story structure has now been built and open to the Camden community. This newly improved soft play gives children different challenges to overcome throughout each level, making the experience more engaging whilst enabling a higher capacity of users, allowing more fun for all!
With the increased size, there is more space for children of different ages to use the facility. For children under 10, the new 3-storey soft play area includes interactive play equipment, slide, seating areas for parents and a dedicated toddler area so that children can explore a range of different materials, textures and colours in a safe a secure way.
Group Cycle Improvements
Group Cycle is one of Swiss Cottage Leisure Centre's most popular Fitness Classes and, with this proposed investment, we aim to increase the size of the current group cycle studio to allow for more than double the existing number of bikes available for members to use in one class. Whilst doing this, we aim to take the Group Cycle studio lights, music and atmosphere up another level to ensure that you are more motivated than ever to enjoy the class.

Temporary Disruptions
Due to the exciting plans, all Group Cycle classes will be moved into the Sports Hall whilst work takes place, from 2nd June for 6-8 weeks. We aim to keep the existing class programme in place, however, please do keep checking the Better UK app or online to see if there will be any changes.
As there will be some temporary noise disruption, we will temporarily close Spa Experience on Mondays and Tuesdays from 2nd June. However, Spa treatments will still be bookable Wednesday-Friday 3pm-8pm and weekends we will operate as normal.
