I Am Team GB - The Nation's Biggest Sports Day

This year, Better are excited to be partnering with I Am Team GB, to get as many people as possible active in their communities.

Inspired by the achievements of Team GB athletes and the amazing efforts of local community heroes, I Am Team GB have created the Nation’s Biggest Sports Day, taking place on Saturday 24 August 2019. There will be hundreds of free and fun activities across the country, put on by amazing volunteers, known as I Am Team GB Games Makers.

There are a huge range of activities across the nation that you can get involved in. Here at Phoenix Fitness Centre and Janet Adegoke Swimming Pool will be hosting an afternoon of FREE swimming from 1pm.

Come get involved, whether you are a family wanting to splash about together or an individual wanting to challenge yourself, or some friends, to some lengths. In the evening, 5:15-6pm, the pool will be open only to women.
