SEND Kids Camp At Alex Yee Ladywell Arena

In partnership with Access Sport we’ll be hosting a SEND holiday camp.

This Summer Holiday the Alex Yee Ladywell Arena will be hosting a sports and physical activities for d/Deaf disabled and neurodivergent young people.

The camp will be running in the following dates

  • Wednesday 23rd July & Thursday 24th July 2025
  • Tuesday 29th July & Thursday 31st July
  • Monday 4th August & Wednesday 6th August
  • Tuesday 12th August & Thursday 14th August
  • Monday 18th August & Wednesday 20th August
  • Wednesday 27th August & Friday 29th August

Across these dates we will be working with a range of partners from across the borough as well as Access Sport and London Sport. The event is also being supported by Lewisham Council.

The sessions will run between 10am and 12pm on each of the dates above and are available to children aged 5–25 (please see booking form for more details)

Activities will vary depending on the day

The camp will run at Alex Yee Ladywell Arena, Silvermere Road, SE6 4QX

This event is being made possible through the Lewisham Disability Sports Network whose core group consist of Access Sport, London Sport, Better, South East London Tennis, Disability Sports Coaching, Lewisham Council and Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trust.

How to get here - If you will be travelling by train, the nearest train stations is Ladywell and Catford Bridge, where Thameslink and Southeastern trains travel to. The stations are a 7 minute walk from the venue. The nearest bus stop is Mount Pleasant Road Lewisham (Stop HF and HS) where buses 47, 75, 136,185, 199 and 208 stop 

Facilities - all activities will take place outside (unless it's dance which will take place in the community room). There are male and female toilets and a disabled toilet and accessible changing with ramp access but no Changing Places facilities.
