Amelia PettittI have received this for 2 years now and have used the membership most days of the week. I’m very grateful for it.” – Amelia run a lap to support GSF in USA where she was at the time of the GLL 30th birthday event

Sarah Hanley

“Hi Chris

Hope you’ve finished all 30 laps now- well done for the perseverance!

I just wanted to say thanks to GLL for the membership as a sponsored athlete- it’s meant that even in my off season following a spring marathon and starting winter cross country training, I have been able to try different classes at different local leisure centres, meaning I can vary my training and prevent injuries whilst getting back fit.

Thanks again,

Sarah”

Over the weekend of the 22nd and 23rd July Wavelengths Leisure Centres ran

  • Free family swim sessions 10am and 3pm both days.
  • Open weekend in the gym
  • 90’s themed GEX classes.

Feedback from customers was very positive with many enjoying the 90’s theme.

There was a good atmosphere throughout the centres, with customers wishing us Happy Birthday and being happy to be photographed with our 90’s themed props.

Events on Saturday were supported by the PM, CSM and GM’s of their respective centres. On Sunday centre teams were supported by their respective GM’s

A big thanks to all the centre teams who made the weekend run so smoothly, with special mentions going to Ashley Clark AM at Glass Mill and Djeician Marques DM at Forest Hill. Ashley for his enthusiasm and nonstop energy throughout the day and Djeician for her decorating skills.

A big thanks also needs to be given to Ashley’s partner who baked a 30th birthday cake
