Zumba is a 60 min dance class that will really get you moving. Zumba has grown in popularity over the years now and is a fusion of dances that include Reggaeton, Salsa, Hip-Hop, and Flamenco.

Zumba classes are a great and exciting way of mixing both exercise, and dance to create a new way to introduce cardio into your fitness regime.  It is perfect for those who are looking for new ways to burn calories.

WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF ZUMBA CLASSES?

  • Meeting new people and socialising- Zumba is a great way to engage with others while exercising.
  • It can aid your fitness levels- By taking part in regular sessions you are doing a full body workout, this may help you improve on not only your confidence but your cardiovascular health and also your coordination.

What to Wear For a Zumba Class?

As Zumba is a dance based class, you need to have on clothing that will allow you to stretch and move around freely. Flat and comfortable footwear is also advised. We also advise that you bring a water bottle, to stay hydrated during your workout! If you forget to bring one don’t panic we have a water fountains in the gym that you can use. As you’ll be moving around and working up a sweat we do advise that you bring a towel also.
