'Be Inspired' Open Day - Saturday 13th August
To celebrate the success of Team England at the 2022 Commonwealth Games, we will be hosting a Be Inspired Open Day packed full of sporting activities on Saturday 13th August.
The aim of the event is to encourage and inspire local residents of all ages to try sports and activities that they may not have taken part in before, bring along friends or family who they think might be keen to give a new activity a go and generally have a great time using the fantastic facilities!
On the day we will be running a BBQ and offering the below free or reduced cost activities:

*Trampoline park sessions should be booked online in advance at https://bookings.better.org.uk/. Please note the following supervision ratios apply and all supervising adults are required to pay for an entry ticket:
- Under 5’s – 1 adult : 1 child
- 5-7years – 1 adult : 10 children
- 8 years + - no adult supervision required
All other sessions do not require advanced booking.
We will also be providing a £10 discount for anyone who signs up for tennis lessons on the day!
Commenting on the event, Oliver Stacey, General Manager for Sutton Sports Village said: “With over 35 million UK residents reported to have watched the Commonwealth Games over the 11 days of competition, we know they have had a huge impact on the nation’s psyche and our attitude to sport. We wanted to capitalise on that enthusiasm and encourage people to move from the sofa to their local sports centre and get active. Research shows that taking part in team or individual sports offers huge physical and mental health benefits and we hope our Be Inspired open day will be the catalyst for local residents to have a go at something new or different."
