Hough End Leisure Centre on Princess Road has a gym with cardio and weights, a 25-metre pool and teaching pool for lane swimming and lessons, plus a health suite to relax after your workout. The programmable gym offers mixed sessions, women-only times and SEND-friendly access. Classes include group cycle, yoga, HIIT, Pilates, strength and conditioning, circuits and dance fitness all week, with aqua sessions in the pool. There are over-50s classes and women-only swimming available. Outside, you'll find two artificial pitches and 16 grass pitches for football. We run birthday parties and squash sessions, and there's a cafe on site. The centre also has squash courts and community spaces with a bar. This facility is part of a unique collection of community and elite facilities governed by Manchester Active, a not for profit organisation established and overseen by Manchester City Council.
