The Gosling Ski Centre offers a wide range of activities for all ages, beginner to advanced. Recreational Skiing and Private Lessons are also available to book. Prices will be depending on times and group sizes. Rental of boots, skis and helmets are all available and included in the price

We teach from complete beginners to intermediate skiers looking to move on to the next level.  Instructors will track your development and supply you with a progress card updated by your instructor after each lesson. All our instructors are hold industry recognised qualification’s, are fully first aid trained and DBS checked.

Session rules 

• To ski, you MUST be able to control your speed, direction and be confident to use a Poma drag lift.  If you have none or very little skiing experience, you will require tuition prior to being allowed to use the slope recreationally. No straight runs or jumps are allowed.
• On arrival you will be required to read and sign a declaration agreeing to the above requirements.  Parents/friends/ none Gosling ski instructors are not allowed to instruct you. The nursery slope is only for use by instructor led lessons.  Failure to meet the required skiing standard will result in termination of the skiing session without a refund.
• For all slope activities you MUST wear appropriate clothing. This includes gloves, long trousers and long sleeves which must be worn at all times on the slope. Trouser bottoms should be wide enough to go over your ski boots. Long socks are recommended.

Suitable for all abilities from 6 years of age, private lessons are a great way to start a new sport or build on pre-existing skills. All private lessons need to be booked with a minimum of one week notice, are subject to instructor availability and will need to be paid for in full at the time of booking confirmation.*

*Please note that during the ski season, demand is extremely high and it may take us 72 hours to respond to enquiries.  Please ensure you allow adequate time to book lessons to avoid disappointment.  

Our fun ring/tubing session consist of sitting in a rubber ring with a hard plastic base, sliding down the ski slope, and having lots of fun! 

Session details: 

• Sessions are one hour long 
• Sessions are £12 per person, and discounts may be available for community and schools. Please enquire when booking. 
• Sessions are available for people aged 7 and above 
• For safety reasons, all participants will need to wear long sleeves, trousers and a pair of gloves. Failure to attend with the correct clothing will result in cancellation of your activity without refund.

Public sessions currently run every Saturday and Sunday (subjected to change) at the following times:

• 11.30am – 12.30pm
• 1pm – 2pm
• 2.30pm – 3.30pm

Adult skier £140.00 

Junior skier £110.00 (minimum age 7, maximum age 18)

Our beginner courses run over 4 consecutive weekends with a two hour lesson each time.  Saturday courses run from 14.30-16.30 and Sunday courses from 10.00-12.00. Please ensure you can commit to all four weeks of the course before booking. We will, of course, make alternative arrangements for medical emergencies.

All courses must be paid for, in full at the time of booking. Further details will be sent out with confirmation of your place(s). Courses run subject to minimum numbers.
