Walking tennis with Ed from Excel Tennis
Walking tennis is safe, fun and inclusive and a fantastic way to stay active! It’s a game that’s open to anyone - whether you’re a lifelong tennis player, a complete beginner or just need a bit more time to get into the swing of things, you can give the game a go in a supportive setting.
Boccia with Jenny
Boccia (pronounced bot-cha) is the most inclusive sport you’ll find! It's easy to play, but harder to master! Boccia is a Paralympic sport with no Olympic equivalent. It’s a target ball sport played from a seated position where players propel balls to land close to a white marker ball – the jack.
Social Tea Dance with Daphne
The social tea dance comprises some popular sequence dances including the Waltz, Rumba and Square Tango. It is suitable for all abilities and perfect for older adults who want to socialize whilst enjoying some physical activity.
Pickleball and Badminton
Two classic racket sports where staff will be on hand to talk you through the rules and even give you a game. We have drop in sessions for both of these sports and are always welcoming new partcipants.
70/80s Aerobics with Lisa
Rewind in time for an aerobics class full of classics from the 70s and 80s. No need to bring along leg warmers or head bands but enthusiasm and energy are a must. Options will be given for different abilities so this class is open to all.
Walking Netball with Gill
Walking netball is a low impact version of netball perfect for those returning to the sport after a long break, coming back to activity after injury or those wanting something slower paced. Gill will get you warmed up, into a few practice drills and playing the sport in no time.
