Summer Open weekend 19th and 20th July 2025
This summer, we are excited to invite you to our Open Weekend, a full two days of free activities, classes, and family fun. Whether you’re a regular or new to our facilities, this is your chance to explore everything on offer and get involved in your local community for free!
When: Saturday 19th and Sunday 20th July 2025
Please see below for a timetable of events:

| 9am-3pm | Saturday | Football on the Astro Turf | No need to book, just turn up. |
| 9.30am | Saturday | Inflatable Zone | Under 5's need accompanied by a adult |
| 11am | Saturday | Swimbees Taster | Will be tought water safety (Pre School age) |
| 11.30am | Saturday | Better Swim School Taster | Will be tought water safety. From age 5+ |
| 12.30-2.30pm | Saturday | Jungle Jacks Soft Play | Under 8s |
| 3.30pm | Saturday | Aqua Splash | Must be aged 8+ and be able to swim 25 Meters unaided |
| 3-5pm | Sunday | Swim for All & Swim for Fitness | Both pools open |
| 3pm | Sunday | Badminton | We can provide all equipment |
| 4pm | Sunday | Pickleball | We can provide all equipment |
| 5pm | Sunday | Table Tennis | We can provide all equipment |
What do I need to bring?
Please wear comfortable and appropriate clothing for all activities and bring a towel and some water with you. We will provide all the eqipment for the racket sports.
What if I have a health condition?
Please make sure you let the members of staff know about any health conditions prior to activity.
How do I book?
Members
To book our open day activities please visit the Open Weekend Tab either on the Better UK app or online and select the date you would like to attend. Please note tsome activties may be under their normal tab. For example, Aqua Spash will be under Swimming.
Non-members
Non-members can participate by creating a free account via the app or online at https://bookings.better.org.uk/register, then simply booking an available open day activity. As part of the registration process, customers must agree to the activity terms and conditions, which include a signed waiver granting access into the centre.
