Why am I being charged after freezing my membership?

If you’ve frozen or cancelled your membership but still see a payment taken, it’s usually because we didn’t get enough notice before your next Direct Debit date.

We need at least 30 calendar days’ notice before your next payment to process a freeze or cancellation and stop further charges.

Please note:

  • If your freeze or cancellation request comes less than 30 days before your billing date, your next payment may still be taken.
  • This is explained in your Membership Terms and Conditions (Section 5, especially 5.8 to 5.13).
