Starting Tuesday 6th June 10.30-11.30am we will have a new type of yoga class starting in our studio. Lyn will be taking members through a form of yoga called Yin Yoga which is a slower form of yoga focusing on holding the poses for longer. This will be running alongside our already popular yoga and Pilates classes.

Yoga has become one of the most popular forms of exercise across the world with its origins come from Asia people have found the benefits of slowing the mind and learning to control the body through breathing and controlled stretching to have far reaching effects in their lives with lots of people attributing their yoga practice to helping with their mental health as well as physical.

This form of yoga is great for those with injuries or tight hips, hamstrings and glutes as you are able to lengthen the muscles increasing flexibility and preventing injuries. The session will end with a lovely relax as well great for mind and body! Come give it a try and see how yoga can help benefit you in and outside of the gym!

Junior Strength & Conditioning classes – Wednesday 15:30-16:00 – Starting 7th June

Here at Better Gym Mere Green we know the importance of investing in our youth and that is why we are putting a new strength & conditioning class on for all members aged 11-17 years. With structured exercise programs and knowledgeable fitness instructor these classes are designed to help junior members hit their fitness goals.

All of our classes are included in our memberships as standard which are available to book up to 7 days in advance. These can be easily booked from the timetable tab on the website or by downloading the Better UK app on your smartphone.
