Over the weekend of the 19th & 20th July Thornton Heath Leisure Centre will be running additional activities in celebration of our 2025 Summer Open Weekend! 

We have a variety of activities on offer at Thornton Heath Leisure Centre, so whether this is your first time or you are a regular visitor, we’ll have something for everyone to enjoy. 

Whether its Swimming, Fitness Classes, the Gym, Sauna & Steam, or Badminton that you’re after, you’ll be sure to find something for you, and your friend(s) or family members to take part it. 

Over the Summer 2025 Open Weekend, in addition to our usual programme, we’ll be running these additional activities:

How to book?

If you are a non-member: 

Non-members can participate by creating a free account via the app or online at https://bookings.better.org.uk/register, then simply booking an available open day activity. As part of the registration process, customers must agree to the activity terms and conditions, which include a signed waiver granting access into the centre.

What do I need to bring?   

Please wear comfortable and appropriate clothing for all classes and activities; all equipment is provided. Please make sure you bring a towel and water with you. 
   
What if I have a health condition?  

Please make sure you let the members of staff know about any health conditions prior to activity.   
 
What if I have never been before?   

If you're new to any of the activities or unsure about using certain equipment, feel free to ask one of our staff members. We’re here to guide you. If you’re using the gym or taking part in any physical activities today, please ensure you’ve warmed up first. If you need guidance, our fitness instructors are here to help.
