Sutton Gymnasts Heading to English Finals

Gymnasts from Sutton Gymnastics Academy took part in the latest regional tumbling competition at Redbridge on 25th February 2024, with the top two places qualifying for the English finals.

We are hugely proud to announce that for the first time ever our gymnastics club will have multiple gymnasts competing in a national event! A massive congratulations to the following gymnasts:

- Alex H - 1st place - Regional Challenge Cup Level 3

- Esme - 1st place - Regional Challenge Cup Level 2

- Jake - 1st place - Regional Challenge Cup Level 1

- Alyssa - 2nd place - Regional Challenge Cup Level 2

These 4 amazing gymnasts will now get the opportunity to compete against the best in the country at the English finals, taking place in Telford at the International Centre. We also had other fantastic results:

- Demi - 2nd place - Regional Club Cup 5 

- Callie - 3rd place - Regional Club Cup 5 

Demi will now advance to the English Silver finals, and all of the team qualified for the Regional Qualifiers 3. If they place in the top two in this event they will then qualify for either Inter-Regional Challenge Cup Final or the Club Cup Final, depending on their level!

A massive well done to everyone who competed. We are incredibly proud of all your accomplishments.
