Here at Better Gym Teddington we have a number of fitness classes that are available. We have grouped our fitness classes into categories below so that you can decide what fitness class is best for you and what classes can help you improve on your chosen fitness level.
HIIT -
High intensity interval training… the name says it all!
Struggling to find the time to workout? Join us in the Function Zone where the Fitness Team will coach and motivate you through a 30-minute blast of high energy intervals coupled with short recovery periods – fun, effective, and time efficient.
Why HIIT? Get involved if you want to get fit fast, improve heart health, and boost fat metabolism.
Circuit Training –
Bored with the same workout routine every day? Mix it up in one of our Circuit Training sessions delivered by our dedicated Fitness Team in the Functional Zone. This popular class involves a series of exercises stations and movement patterns, designed to deliver a full body workout and boost cardiovascular health.
Why Circuit Training? Get involved if you want to beat boredom, and get great results with a like minded group.
Core Conditioning –
Want to get stronger in everything else you do… it’s all in the core! Having a strong, stable core helps us to prevent injuries and allows us to perform at our best. Join us for a 30 minute core blast in the Functional Zone where our dedicated Fitness Team will coach you through a series of core exercises, adapting the exercise to match your ability and progress your stability.
Why Core Conditioning? Whether your goal is a beach body or simply a better quality of life… Core stability will help you walk taller and perform better.
Power Pump –
Want to tone, shape and feel great? This low-impact weight training class delivers a full-body workout in 45 minutes. Using light to medium weights and high repetitions, our Fitness Team will take you through a well structured toning class, focussed on building muscle in all the right places.
Why Power Pump? If you’re new to weight training, or just a fan of fitness classes, then this body sculpting class is an absolute must!
Legs, Bums, & Tums –
This popular class has always been a crowd pleaser. As the name suggests, LBT targets the lower body and abdominals – perfect for those wanting to accentuate and shape these areas. Delivered by Fitness Manager, Anderea, in the studio zone, this 60 minute toning session is fantastic for building confidence and curves in a social setting.
Why LBT? Need a confidence boosting class that focuses on those stubborn areas that can be hard to shape… this one’s for you!
Boxfit –
Need some mid-week motivation...? Join us for a high-energy Boxfit session that packs a punch. Delivered by our established Personal Trainer, Aleem, this class uses boxing moves to get a great full-body sweat in a safe, non-competitive environment.
Why Boxfit? Fancy having a “Rocky Balboa” experience… based on the training used for boxing, it includes punching combos, footwork, and boxing drills – all focussed on fitness and toning.
Group Cycle –
We love our Group Cycle classes at Teddington Better Gym! Get your heart pumping with a 45 minute cycle along imaginary terrain; alternating speed and resistance to imitate hill climbs & sprints, this class is fun, fast paced, and effective!
