Catered parties are coming in June 2025!

The brand-new Party Zone Area will be opening from 21st June 2025 catering for parties in both the Active Play and Active Multi-Zones. 

We can't wait to host your childs next celebration here at Sobell Leisure Centre. Keep an eye on here and on our socials for when we launch the Party Area!

Active Multi-Zone Party from 21st June 2025

Run, jump, bounce and race around our Active Multi-Zone Area where you can enjoy the Trampoline, Inflatable, Strike Challenge zones and an interactive football pitch. There is plenty to do to keep everyone entertained. 

Included: 

  • 60 minutes in the active play area followed by 45 minutes in your dedicated party space 
  • Hot or cold meal for each participant  
  • Dedicated party host

Active Play Party

Give your child the space they need to climb, crawl and slide into a world of imagination within the Active Play Area and allow them to discover an immersive experience with a dedicated area for under 2’s.  

Included: 

  • 60 minutes in the active play area followed by 45 minutes in your dedicated party space 
  • Hot or cold meal for each participant  
  • Self catered option available

Football Party

For the budding footballer, the football party packages allows your guests to compete in a self-run game of football on the outdoor football pitch and strive to be the next champions.

Includes: 

  • 60 minutes on the outdoor 3G pitch followed by 45 minutes in your dedicated party space

Additional Information

When you arrive

When you arrive to Sobell Leisure Centre, you will be greeted by your dedicated party host. 

For Active Multi-Zone parties, you will be given your trampoline socks and wristbands, watch a safety video and be led to your activity area.

For Active Play parties, you will be given wristbands and led to the activity area. 

For football parties, you will need to check in at reception where we will provide you with your equipment and led to the pitches. 

Please note, the Active Multi-Zone and Active Play areas will be shared with the general public, however, the dedicated party space will be available for your party guests only.  

Ratios

Please be aware the following supervising ratios apply for all activities within the Active Play Area and Active Multi-Zone Area:

  • Children 18 months to 4 years - 1 Paying adult to 2 children
  • Children 5 to 7 years - 1 paying adult to 10 children
  • Children 8 years + - No supervision required 

Where a parent has responsibility for supervising a child under 5 and a child over 5, the 2:1 ratio will apply.

Party Food

When selecting a catered party option, no outside food and drink may be brought in with the exception of a birthday cake.

Before your party, we will send a food menu to you and we require this to be returned to us no later than 10 days before your party, failure to do so would result in the default menu of vegetable nuggets and chips for all participants.

For football parties, this is a self catering option whereby you will be allowed to being in food and drink (no alcohol). Self catered option is available for Active Play parties.

Menu Option 1 (Pizza Options)

2 slices of pizza and chips per child plus a bag of crisps (96kcal) or similar and a small slush per child (110kcal).

One pizza option per child:

  • Pepperoni (661 kcal)
  • Margherita (628 kcal)

Please note we are unable to offer further allergen alternatives on this menu.

Menu Option 2 (Hot)

One hot item per child plus a bag of crisps (96kcal) or similar and a small slush per child (110kcal).

Hot items to choose from are as follows:

  • Chicken Nuggets & Chips (432kcal)
  • Fish Fingers & Chips (382kcal)
  • Vegan Nuggets & Chips (410kcal)

Gluten free options for this menu are available upon request.

Menu Option 3 (Sandwich Options)

A choice of one cold item per child:

  • Cheese Sandwich (330kcal)
  • Ham Sandwich (249kcal)
  • Jam Sandwich (259kcal)

Plus a piece of fruit (52kcal), yoghurt (34kcal) and a cartoon of orange juice (82kcal) per child.
