At Highgrove Pool and Fitness Centre our fitness instructors offer customers gym inductions to help you get used to our gym equipment as well as programmes; putting together a detailed plan of your workout incorporating your current fitness goals to help motivate you.  

Our fitness instructors and personal trainers also offer re-focus sessions every six weeks to rejuvenate old fitness workouts to help keep things interesting.

At Better, we’re all about helping everybody get fit and healthy and we regularly run fitness challenges for “Member of the Month” in order to praise your effort and achievements.

So whatever your goal, Highgrove Pool and Fitness Centre is the perfect place to meet them.

How to join:

At Highgrove Pool and Fitness Centre we have different types of Monthly memberships to suit an indviduals needs.


Inductions and Re-focus sessions:

Here at Highgrove Pool and Fitness Centre we have fitness instructors who are able to provide you with a total and basic induction dependent on your needs.

The basic induction is a 30 minute meeting with a qualified fitness instructor who will show you around 2 pieces of resistance equipment and 2 pieces of cardio equipment, during this time they will also take a blood pressure as well as a health questionaire.

The total induction is an hour session with a qualified fitness instructor who will show you around the different type of equipment that we have within the fitness suite as well as having a health questionaire filled out and a blood presure check. During this you will also recieve a free personal programme which can be revisted every 6-8 weeks with a refocus session with the fitness instructor.

We also offer re-focus sessions which is where you are able to book an 30 minute appointment with a fitness instructor who will be able to answer any quieries that you may have, as well as revisting the programme that has been set out.

Junior Gym

As part of our new junior health & fitness membership we are now offering junior gym sessions.

These supervised sessions are a brilliant starting point for any child wishing to get fit and active in safe surroundings.

These sessions are aimed at children aged 11-15 years and are run 7 days a week so there's no excuse to miss a session.

We require all users to complete an induction with a member of the fitness team, where your child will be inducted into the safe use of the gyms equipment. From there, your child can attend any session they wish on a casual basis or they can take advantage of our junior health & fitness membership.

Our sessions at Highgrove Pool and Fitness Centre run:

Weekdays: 3.30pm - 5.30pm

Weekends: 11.00am to 1.00pm
