On both the 2nd and 3rd of December, the Waterfront leisure centre and Sutcliffe park sports centre respectively will be opening their doors to the general public to attend a disability open day in celebration of International Day of People with Disabilities.

This world wide awareness day is a chance for organisations across the globe to shine a light on people with disabilities, showcasing the work being done to create a more open and inclusive society.  Key themes for the united nations initiative centre on leadership and participation of persons with disabilities toward an inclusive, accessible, and sustainable post-COVID-19 world.

On Friday 2nd December at the Waterfront Leisure Centre in Woolwich attendees can enjoy back to back fitness classes from 11am, a dip in the pool from 1pm-2pm and multi-sports activities such as table tennis, boccia, ten pin bowling and much, much more!  Sutcliffe Park’s event will feature clip and climb, soft play, inclusive cycling and mulipi-sports activities.
